I am Presh Mulay. I qualified in India in the university of Pune in 2001. After passing the statutory examination run by the General Dental Council in 2006, I worked for the next 3 years in the community dental services in Cornwall. I started working as a dental surgeon at Moretonhampstead Dental Practice in 2010. I am currently undertaking the prestigious fellowship in restorative dentistry- an advanced masters program- which I hope to finish in December of 2023. I live in Exeter with my wife and boys. I enjoy playing tennis and cricket. I intend to keep myself fit enough to be the oldest competitor on American Ninja and complete the obstacle course. The current record stands at 80 years. I consider myself to be an arm-chair economist- it does not pay my bills.

At Moretonhampstead Dental Practice, we aim for every patient who comes into the practice to feel at home, no matter what the reason for their visit is. The whole team wants every patient’s journey at the practice to be relaxed, positive, and as unique as they are.
Every patient will have their own set of needs, desires, hopes and fears about dental treatment, so we will spend time getting to know you to find out what yours are, and to answer any questions you may have. We strive to provide the highest standards of treatment for every patient, at every appointment, in every aspect of dentistry. All of this is provided in a caring, compassionate manner.
We aim to never keep patients waiting as your time is as valuable as mine.
If you’ve come to us for an emergency dental appointment, we will endeavour to see you within 24 hours, while if you require general advice, you will be attended to as quickly as possible or if convenient for you a telephone consultation can also be arranged.
The initial complete exam lasts for 1 hour which includes a thorough look at the 6 systems which constitute the dento-facial complex mainly the teeth, the gums, the skin within the mouth, the jaw joints, the airway and aesthetics. We record all the required x-rays during this procedure. We record a series of photographs of the teeth which will permit you to see the teeth like you have never seen then before. This is followed by an intra-oral digital scan. Following your initial consultation, you will be advised appropriate treatment and given a written treatment plan with exact cost of the procedure.
